Dr. Brown recommends her patients to at least 3 times a day for 10-15 minutes. Do not apply directly on the skin as it may cause frostbite. Please do not apply heat. Heat will increase swollen and will bring blood to the surface. The ice will reduce swelling and relieve pain.
Epsom salt bath
A salt bath is recommended nightly to relieve the muscle aches, soreness, symptoms from your injury. This will not cure your injury but simply help by giving relief.
How to use Epsom salts:
*Full a bath with warm to hot water (78-85 degrees F)
*Soak in the salts for 20 minutes.
After the bath, apply a cold pack to the injured area for no more than 15 minutes.
